✍️ “Stay late today, help close the shift” - almost everyone has probably heard this phrase. And at the end of the month there was no additional payment on the payslip.

A person came to us with a similar problem and asked for help. The situation turned out to be so common that we decided to break it down for everyone who might encounter the same thing.

By law, overtime must be paid at an increased rate, regardless of whether the request was oral or written - the main thing is that the employer knew about it and actually agreed that you remain working beyond the norm.

What you should do to avoid missing your watch:

Check your payroll every month with how much you actually worked - don’t just look at the total, but count the hours.

🔗 Previously, we gave advice on how processing should be formatted on our Instagram, be sure to read https://www.instagram.com/nwhr.co.il/p/DaM26hLjEsA/

On your part, we advise you to record processing immediately in notes - date, start and end time.

❗️ If a discrepancy is found, start with a written appeal to the employer - often this is enough for the issue to be resolved.

If your employer is not going to resolve the issue, you can contact the Ministry of Labor, because the employer is required to keep records of hours worked for several years.

📩 If you want to find trusted employers, write to us, we know how to help you.
