This year Passover feels completely different; it is still a holiday of freedom.

But now the word “freedom” sounds sharper and more significant than usual.

We live through days in which there is alarm, sirens, and anticipation of news. And it is during such a period that you clearly understand what this holiday is really about.

Passover is not about the ideal conditions of a festive atmosphere. It is about the path to freedom, which begins when everything around is turbulent.

The holiday reminds us:

⚫even if the path is difficult, it is not endless.

⚫even if it’s hard now it’s not forever.

⚫even in the most difficult circumstances, a person still has the choice to hold on, support each other and move on.

This year we especially want to wish simple, but the most important things - peace, security, silence, strength and care for yourself and your loved ones.

Let your homes be warm.

Let your loved ones be nearby. And may this Passover bring the feeling that even now we are not alone and we can cope.
