🇮🇱 The shekel is strengthening - what does this mean for your spending?
If you receive a salary in ₪ and live in Israel, your salary does not directly increase from the strengthening of the shekel. But some expenses may be more profitable:
🛒 Imported goods may become cheaper: equipment, clothing and some products, the prices of which depend on imports.
✈️ Traveling abroad is becoming more accessible: for the same amount in shekels you can buy more foreign currency.
💱 Currency exchange becomes more profitable: if you need to buy foreign currency for overseas expenses, a strong shekel allows you to get more of the currency you need for the same ₪.
💳 Payments in foreign currency are cheaper: for example, subscriptions, online services and purchases in foreign currency.
