⚠️ Is working through an agency good or bad?
Many people come to Israel with a ready-made opinion: an agency is something temporary and it is better to look for work directly. It’s clear where this stereotype comes from. But in practice, not everything is so simple.
An agency doesn't hire you instead of an employer—it helps you get there. Explains the conditions, selects suitable vacancies, prepares for interviews and accompanies during the process. This is especially important when you do not yet fully understand the labor market in Israel, and what you can generally expect with your experience and level of Hebrew.
💡 At the same time, registration takes place directly to the company’s staff with all that follows: official contract, social contributions, salary and direct contact with the employer.
And one more thing that many people don’t know is that this help is free for the applicant. The agency receives payment from the employer, not from you.
So working through an agency is one of the options for the same official work, only with support at every step.
