Friends, it happened!
If you remember, last summer there were terrible fires in our country that destroyed many hectares of forest. A month later, the Russian-speaking telegram community launched an initiative together with KKL to raise money for the restoration of Canada Park (includes soil and forest restoration) and as a result, about 70 thousand shekels were collected, which is enough for almost a hectare of forest!
Today was the grand unveiling of the plaque in Canada Park.
Thanks to everyone who posted this collection, everyone who gave money, each of you made an invaluable contribution to our Country, our Earth and our History.
Dozens of telegram channels took part in the initiative, hundreds of donators, we also want to say a special thank you to the “activists” who conducted a counter campaign to boycott the collection, you yourself, without knowing it, only increased its virality and the amount of monetary assistance.
