Job description:

1. Accompanying the immigrant and individual treatment in the mother tongue during the absorption process (school registration, assistance in communication with the education authorities, national insurance, etc.).

2. Establishing contact with potential immigrants before immigrating and encouraging them to immigrate to the city of Tel Aviv-Yafo.

3. Carrying out targeted projects for new immigrants in the field of informal education (educational reinforcement, classes in community centers, orientation workshops, etc.).

4. Accompanying cultural and community activities (cultural events, tours to get to know the country, etc.).

5. Creating a plan to clarify the municipal events related to immigration and absorption in social networks.

6. Carrying out activities in the field of employment and business entrepreneurship.

7. Holding activities to promote knowledge of the Hebrew language among the new immigrants.

8. Performing additional tasks within the scope of the position, according to the instructions of the supervisor.

Job requirements:

1. Matriculation certificate. An advantage for an academic degree recognized by the Council for Higher Education, or recognized by the Ministry of Education in the department for evaluating academic degrees abroad.

2. Professional experience in leading educational or community projects: Matriculation certificate for at least 2 years, academic degree: not required.

3. Experience in the field of migration and absorption - an advantage.

4. Broad familiarity with the world of content and knowledge processes in social networks.

5. Knowledge and experience in operating computer systems and running office applications.

6. Communication skills and ability to manage negotiations.

7. High service consciousness and good human relations.

8. Knowledge of the Hebrew language at a very good level and mastery of one or more of the following languages: Russian/French/English/Spanish (depending on the language mix of the position).

9. Good written and oral expression.

10. Possibility to work in unusual hours and days.
