💡Working under sirens: what every worker must know in an emergency❗️
Israel is living in a state of emergency. After preemptive strikes by Israel and the United States on targets in Iran, as well as in accordance with the orders of the Home Front Service, classes in educational institutions, public events and the activities of most enterprises were temporarily suspended throughout the country. The restrictions are currently in effect until Monday 8:00 p.m.
Against this background, the Minister of Labor, after consulting with the Minister of Defense, signed a decree on the possibility of using the “labor mobilization” mechanism for workers of critical facilities. What does this mean in practice—and what should employees do?
Who is obligated to continue working?
In conditions of a “special situation in the rear,” employees of enterprises that provide the country’s basic livelihoods are required to go on shifts even in areas with restrictions.

— energy and utility infrastructure: electricity and water supply, fuel and gas supplies;
— medical institutions: hospitals, clinics, dialysis centers, nursing homes and support services;
